Welcome to the 2026–2027 OHSRA/OKJHSRA Rodeo Season!

Dear OHSRA/OKJHSRA Members and Families,

Welcome to another exciting year of Oklahoma High School and Junior High Rodeo! Whether you're a returning member or joining us for the first time, we're thrilled to have you as part of the OHSRA family. We look forward to a safe, successful and fun-filled rodeo season! Please take a few moments to review the important information below to help you prepare for the upcoming season.

Membership

National Membership

  • Membership Fee: HS - $139  JH - $95

  • Complete online at www.nhsra.com or www.nhsra.com/junior-high-division beginning August 1.

  • Returning members should log in using their existing username and password.

  • New members should select "New Member" to create an account.

  • If you have trouble logging in, please contact the secretary for assistance.

  • Out-of-state transfer members must complete the online transfer request through NHSRA.

Oklahoma State Membership

  • Membership Fee: $50

  • Membership forms are available at www.nhsra.com after payment.

Required Forms

The following items must be completed and uploaded on www.nhsra.com before you are eligible to compete (you will see these forms after payment):

All required forms will be uploaded through each member's NHSRA account and need to be uploaded and labeled separately. 

Example: Take a picture of the completed minors release form, title it  and upload it.

Online Entries

OHSRA uses Rodeo Sports Network (RSN) for online entries. Entry instructions and links will be available on the OHSRA website and social media pages. You will not be pushed over to enter a rodeo on RSN until ALL of your paperwork is complete and uploaded to your NHSRA profile. I will list book openings and closings on social media!

Rodeo Entry Information

Please remember the following:

  • $5 Office Fee per rodeo

  • $10 Gate Fee per family, per day (to be paid at all rodeos except Lazy E).

  • All qualifying rodeos must be entered and paid in advance.

  • Entries close Friday at noon prior to each rodeo.

Late Entries

  • Friday after noon–Tuesday (until 9:00PM.): $25 late fee

  • Tuesday after 9PM–Thursday (until 9:00PM.): $75 late fee

  • No walk-up entries will be accepted.

Draw Outs

  • Must be completed by Tuesday at 9PM  before the ro

  • deo for a refund.

  • Medical or veterinary releases submitted after the deadline may qualify for a refund of entry fees (less stock and office charges).

Draw Posting

The draw will be posted on www.ohsra.com by Wednesday at 7:00PM. before each rodeo.

General Information

  • Sunday church service begins at 8:30 AM

  • NHSRA dress code is required to be in the arena, for parents as well as contestants.. Please review the OHSRA Handbook.

  • Each member has an individual folder located at the secretary's table. Please check your folder at every rodeo for:

    • Important announcements

    • Entry forms

    • Correspondence

    • Payout checks

Please only access your own folder.

Cash payments should never be left in your folder. If paying in cash, please bring payment directly to the secretary to receive a receipt.

School Eligibility

All members must submit Proof of Enrollment before competing.

Proof of Enrollment must:

  • Be on official school letterhead.

  • Include the student's current grade level.

  • Be signed by a school official.

Additional eligibility requirements include:

  • Members must remain in good academic standing.

  • High school members must meet NHSRA academic eligibility requirements.

  • Students enrolled in homeschool, private school, correspondence, or year-round school must provide appropriate documentation showing full-time enrollment and academic eligibility.

  • Report cards or transcripts will be required at mid-year and again before the State Finals.

Any falsified documents will result in immediate disqualification.

Calendar Fundraiser

Each member is required to participate in the annual calendar fundraiser.

  • Minimum calendars to sell: HS - 20  and JH - 15

  • Calendar price: $20 each

  • Calendar money is due by the designated Saturday at Chickasha (Oct 31 by 2PM).

Failure to turn in fundraiser money by the deadline will result in loss of accumulated points and ineligibility to earn additional points until payment is received. Lost points will not be reinstated.
